I … [Read more...]

I used our old classic play dough recipe and simply added pumpkin pie spice to make it smell just like the real thing. Recipe 1 cup flour 1/2 cup … [Read more...]

Thanksgiving Kids Table

The kids table at Thanksgiving is the place to be, especially with these darling printables from Whimsically Detailed. I wanted to create Thanksgiving Kids Table to keep the kids entertained and happy throughout the day.  I started by setting up a "kids zone" in the backyard since our weather is typically perfect for being outside on Thanksgiving.  I used hay bales as seating and also set up a small treat table on one.  At each place setting there is a brown craft gable box filled with fun … [Read more...]

Naturally Fun Bucket

We recently went camping and while the kids found lots of things to keep them busy and spent countless hours pretending in the woods there were moments where I heard the dreaded "We're bored."  Since we have several camping trips coming up this summer I decided I better be prepared.  So the idea for the Naturally Fun Bucket came to life. Peanut Butter and Honey Play Dough

One of my favorite things about planning parties is figuring out how to keep the guest entertained and incorporating the theme.  I was so excited when I found a recipe for Peanut Butter and Honey Play Dough in a pamphlet the bee farmer gave me, when I purchased honey from for the party. Not only did it incorporate the theme, it would provide lots of fun for the guest at the party and double as a party favor they could take home! Are you planning a bee themed party, or just looking for a … [Read more...]

Create. Dream. Play. Art Party

Art inspires creativity, imagination and lots of colorful fun.  That is why I decided to host a Create. Dream. Play. Art Party play date with some of our dear friends and let the creativity flow.  One of my favorite play dates was an art activity we did a few years ago with an old sheet, paint and spray bottles.  I decided to make an ordinary play date extraordinary with the free Lots-O-Dots printables from Piggy Bank Parties. To create a memorable afternoon with your kiddos all you … [Read more...]
