The Christmas tree is the focal point for your holiday decor, so it’s only natural that it should make a statement. This holiday season create a simple and elegant King of Christmas Noble Fir Christmas Tree that will shine!
Over the past 10 years, I have decorated and styled a LOT of Christmas trees here on the blog. Which means I’ve owned a lot of Christmas trees too. But, there is one clear winner for me when it comes to quality, style, and durability.
King of Christmas is hands down my favorite faux Christmas tree on the market, and I’m here to share everything you need to know to create a beautiful designer Christmas tree in your own home.
In addition to owning two other King of Christmas trees, this year I partnered with the brand to share my honest opinions and review about the 8′ King Noble Flock Artificial Christmas Tree with Warm White LED Lights.
Are King of Christmas Trees Worth it?
Yes, Yes, YES! This is an investment you won’t regret making.
Sure, you could purchase a cheaper faux tree elsewhere, but after years of owning multiple brands and styles, I can confidently report that my King of Christmas tree has held up better than any other tree and still looks like it did the first time I took it out of the box.
FAQs About the 8′ King Noble Flock Christmas Tree:
Does it shed?
Not really. Naturally, some of the flocking will fall off with setup, but it’s MINIMAL compared to other flocked trees I’ve owned. I am impressed with how well it stays on the tree, and even after years of storage and use it still looks brand new.
How is the setup?
SUPER easy. There are 3 sections that click into place and light up. It’s seriously so simple. You will need to spend a little bit of time adjusting the branches (as with any tree), and King of Christmas has some great tips on how to do this. I like to slant the branches down a bit like a tree would look with freshly fallen snow.
What happens if a light goes out?
If one light goes out, the rest remain lit! The warm white LED lights have a life expectancy of 25,000 hours, ensuring they will work for many future holiday seasons.
Does it look fake?
Not at all. King of Christmas Trees uses a blend of realistic and classic needle tips to create a beautiful tree that mimics the real thing.
What’s the difference between the King, Queen, and Prince Flock?
The King and Flock features more lights and tips and is a little fuller and more authentic with a blend of PE and PVC, while the Prince tree is 100% PVC. However, I own a Prince Flock and it’s just as beautiful!
What if I don’t want a flocked tree?
There is no shortage of tree variety! Whether you are looking for flocked or green, slim or wide, tall or short; King of Christmas has a lot of trees to choose from.

Learn How to Decorate a Christmas Tree Like a Pro
Over the past 10 years I’ve shared my tips and tricks for decorating Christmas trees. And, each year I learn a little bit more and hone in on my personal style. I have used this same basic method for decorating my tree over the years and combined with a King of Christmas tree and these tips you’ll have a beautiful show-stopping tree in no time!
Step 1: Light it Up
Investing in a quality pre-lit artificial tree, like the 8′ King Noble Flock Artificial Christmas Tree will help you achieve this professional look.
Even though your tree comes with 600 warm LED lights, adding extra lights is what will really make your tree shine. These clip on candles are the perfect addition to any tree. I love how they add an extra bit of glow and elegance to an already beautifully lit tree.
Step 2: Add Large Ornaments
Create interest on the inside of the tree with large, oversized ornaments. I like to use oversized shatterproof ornaments as they are a great filler and look great tucked back inside the tree. They fill any blank holes in the branches and also help conceal the pole of the tree.
In addition to the large ball ornaments I like to incorporate a few large decorative ornaments like these gorgeous 7″ white and gold onion ornaments.
When using oversized, heavy ornaments like these be sure to use floral wire to secure them and attach them to the tree.
Step 3: Add Decorative Ball Ornaments
Next, it’s time to add your decorative ball ornaments. Incorporating a variety of sizes and textures helps create visual interest in your tree. When hanging ornaments work in a triangle pattern and hang them in groups from top to bottom.
The look for this tree was simple elegance so I used a variety of navy and hunter green velvet ornaments. I tied mini bows with this velvet ribbon and added them to the tops of some of the ornaments to create a touch of elegance.
Step 4: Add the Ribbon
The ribbon is one of my favorite elements of the Christmas tree. It adds texture, color, and the WOW factor you see in designer trees. It’s also the thing that intimidates most people, but there are a few ways to add the ribbon like a pro.
Again, the look of this tree was simple elegance so I didn’t want to overpower the tree with lots of ribbon. Instead, I opted for mini velvet bows that I added to ornaments and tree branches to give it texture, color and elevated elegance.
Step 5: Add Floral Sprays
Floral spray, also known as picks, creates texture and adds a natural element to the tree. Clustering your florals is a great way to achieve that designer look. To create a cluster you will need a mix of 3-5 different floral sprays.
When placing your floral sprays on the tree work in a zig-zag pattern from top to bottom. A good rule of thumb is one per foot of the tree, so a mid-size 7.5’ tree would use 7 clusters. A 9’ tree would use 9 clusters.
Step 6: Hang Specialty Ornaments
Now it’s time to add your show-stopping specialty ornaments. These will be any ornaments that aren’t balls, so if you have a special collection or delicate ornaments, now is the time to make these shine.
Hang these ornaments on the ends of the branches where they will be front and center. If you need to adjust where the ornament hangs wrap the string around the branch a few times to adjust the length, it will also ensure the string is not a distraction to the design.
Step 7: Finish it Off with a Topper
A tree-topper is what will give your Christmas tree that designer polished look. I love the look of the gorgeous spray topper springing from the tree. But, there are lots of options for toppers including stars, angels, or bows.
The key is to look for something that will provide height and incorporate a variety of textures to finish it off.
