My Christmas decorations over the years have changed from traditional red and green holiday decor, to neutral with a touch of glam. I love my farmhouse Christmas tree and decor, but every year I feel like I need to mix things up with some bright and cheery colors. This giant DIY Balloon Christmas Wreath is the perfect way to add a pop of color and whimsy to your holiday decor or parties!
Easy Balloon Holiday Decorations
Sometimes it’s the simplest items that make the biggest statement, and this fun Christmas wreath is proof of that. Balloons are typically a party staple and are an inexpensive way to add color to any celebration.
Lately, balloon garlands have been all the rage, and they really do make a statement as party backdrops. I’ve used them to add sparkle and shine to Princess parties and to glam up a Queen Bee-themed party or to serve as the perfect photo booth backdrop. I figured an oversized balloon wreath would make the same kind of impact!
How to Make Giant Balloon Wreath
I teamed up with Oriental Trading to create this super easy DIY Balloon Christmas Wreath. You can visit Fun 365 to find all of the supplies and the step-by-step tutorial to create your own holiday wreath.
I absolutely love how whimsical and fun this wreath turned out. I think it would be the perfect addition to a colorful Holly Jolly Brunch or as a focal point at a Cookies & Cocktails Bar.
If you like the idea of using balloons to create oversized decorations that make a statement then you’ll love these ideas too. I used balloons to create giant holly berry leaves with balloon berries and I even made oversized balloon ornaments to make a statement on this colorful Christmas tree.
The great thing about this project is you can customize it to match your holiday decor and party themes too. I think a red and white candy cane striped balloon wreath would be perfect for our North Pole Breakfast.
What do you think about this giant DIY Balloon Christmas Wreath, would you add this to your holiday celebrations or decor?
