Halloween Party

I know Halloween is long gone, but I am just now getting around to posting pictures from our Halloween party.  We had so much going on this year, we just had a small Halloween play date with some of our favorite friends.I never got a chance to get pictures at the actual party (which always seems to happen) , but everyone wore their costumes and looked adorable!   I also accidentally deleted all of my "good" pictures so these aren't even that great, but we had a blast! We had lots of yummy … [Read more...]

Halloween 2010

We love Halloween and this year did not disappoint!  We had lots going on and the kids seemed to really enjoy everything so much more this year. Parker loved to point out Halloween decorations, one of his favorites was skeletons.  He would gleefully reply "Skeleton - oohhh spooky" and then giggle with joy.  Parker was a Park Ranger this year and looked so handsome in his costume.  We picked this outfit up 2 summers ago when we were visiting Bryce National Park in Utah, isn't it cute!? Piper … [Read more...]

I love how they turned out, they were so adorable!  It took forever for me to sew them and get them right, but it was all worth it because they were so stinkin' cute!  Aubrey was Little Bo Peep in her pretty pink dress and the twins were cute fluffy sheep.   This year we have been so busy that I still haven't started on the kids costumes, and Halloween is only a week … [Read more...]

Toilet Paper Frankenstien

It has been a while since I have shared any of the kids projects we have done, and today we did a super cute one so I thought I would show it off.  I got this idea from the very creative Allie at No Time for Flash Cards.I didn't take any before or during pictures (I was trying to keep my little ones from painting everything in site) so make sure you check out Allie's step by step instructions, here.I gathered some toilet paper rolls and the supplies and set up a table outside.  The kids painted … [Read more...]

Pink Pirates

We went to a Pirate birthday party on Sunday and everyone was asked to dress like a pirate.  One small problem...the only pirate getup we had was a pirate shirt I had just bought Parker on Saturday for Halloween.I didn't want to spend lots of money to deck my kids out for a birthday party so I made a quick trip to Target to see what I could find for cheap.  I found a hot pink & black scarf and a hot pink tank top in the dollar spot. The scarf was a little too thick for the girls so I folded it … [Read more...]
