Hang “10” Retro Surf Shack Birthday Party

I was delighted when my friend Elayne asked me to help plan her daughter's 10th birthday celebration.  She wanted a pool party, but wanted something more "beachy" that reminded her of their time spent living in Australia.  We decided on a surf themed party with a pink, purple and turquoise color scheme.I was so excited when I found Sprinkled with Paper's Retro Surf Party collection.  Jessica made a few changes to the package to incorporate the birthday girls color request and added some new … [Read more...]

Rainbow Art Party

Around here we love arts and crafts so I was thrilled when a dear friend asked me to help with her twin's 5th birthday.  They had requested a colorful rainbow party and their mom decided to host it at a local paint your own pottery studio, Walls of Clay. I had limited space to work with and a very short window of time (1 week) to pull it all together, but I couldn't wait to design something for such a fun theme.  Carli from Dimpleprints quickly customized her colorful art party package for me … [Read more...]

Look Whoo’s Having a Party {Owl Birthday Party}

I recently had the privilege of working on this cute and fun owl party.  Tammy with Tammy Labuda Photography  contacted me and asked if I would help her throw a fun and memorable party for her sweet little girl who was turning 5. The birthday girl wanted an owl party with lots of pink and mom wanted an outdoor, eclectic event that incorporated fun activities to keep the party guest busy.  I had less than 2 weeks to plan this party, but had a great time putting this party together for this sweet … [Read more...]

Happy Birthday P&P

My precious twin's turned 3 on Thursday and we've had lots of fun the past few days celebrating! It all started with a little celebration at their preschool on Wednesday. On their birthday's each kid gets to make a poster to share their favorite things and tell their class more about them. They also get to take a treat and a special toy to share. Watermelon Picnic {Party}

I created this sweet Watermelon Picnic party for my grandma's 80th birthday celebration. A family reunion was planned to help celebrate this big milestone.  Unfortunately, my little family was unable to make the trip to Utah to attend.  Although we couldn't be there I wanted to help make sure that she enjoyed her special day!  So I did what I do best and put together some party decorations for my mom to take with her. I set-up the party a few days before my parent's left for Utah so we could … [Read more...]

Aubrey’s Special Day

Today was Aubrey's "Special Day" at school.  At her school they celebrate each child's birthday and the kids are supposed to decorate and bring a poster with fun facts about themselves and they can bring treats to share with the class.  They gave me the poster a few weeks ago and I had plans to decorate it with Aubrey last week thinking that her day was last week, but realized it wasn't until this week, the 19th.  For whatever crazy reason I got it in my head that the 19th was Friday, I was … [Read more...]

Oh, how I love her!)I wanted to get her a gift that was related to her interest (aka: Justin Bieber) but I couldn't find anything appropriate so I decided to make her some bottle cap necklaces with his picture.This was my first attempt at these, but it was easy and SUPER cheap (I'm … [Read more...]
