Yee Haw! Saddle up partners because it’s time to celebrate a special buckaroo with this Classic Cowboy Birthday Party!
I recently had the pleasure of styling this cowboy themed party featuring printable designs from Lauren Haddox Designs. This classic cowboy party package included rustic details and a cheerful color combination of blue and red. I used neutral tones with the hay, burlap and wood to highlight the design and create decorations for the party. I rounded up a collection of cowboy themed props and borrowed a few items like the saddle and rope to create a party fit for a cowboy.
Guest could fill their pie tins with classic cowboy grub including pork sliders, cornbread muffins, baked beans, wagon wheel pasta. At the Waterin’ Hole guest could wash it all down with water, old fashioned root beer or fill their glass jars with lemonade.
Even cowboys have a sweet tooth and the little buckaroo’s could enjoy S’mores Marshmallow Pops, Popcorn Balls, cupcakes and chocolate candy.
Before they saddles up and rode home each little buckaroo received a burlap sack filled with salt water taffy, a red bandanna a toy horse and a cowboy hat. The bigger cowboys and cowgirls took home a cornbread muffin mix in Mason jars (one of my favorite elements from this party package.)
Happy Trails, until we party again!

Everything is presious, and the toppers are very lovely
Mariah, how did you do the burlap backing on the circle tags? Did you create a rosette like you would with paper? Thanks!
Angie, I cute circles out of cardstock larger than the party circles and then cut stripes of burlap. I ran hot glue around the paper circle and just started bunching the burlap around the circle until it looked like I wanted it. Have fun!
Can I get the recipie for the cornbread? Its the exact size I am looking for! Thanks
Sara, I used the recipe from Paula Deen which you can find here, http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/paula-deen/moist-and-easy-cornbread-recipe/index.html. They are great!
I love this cowboy party. A few details, well selected. Great staging
Really cute!!
Congratulations

Thanks Almudena for stopping by and checking out our cowboy birthday party, it’s one of our favorites!
What did you use to make the silverware holders?
I purchased small brown paper bags from Michael’s (they have a huge variety in their celebration section) and wrapped them with a piece of burlap and one of the printables from the party package. We put the napkin and silverware in them so guest could easily grab them.
The bbq looks delicious on the sliders. Do you have a recipe or what brand did you use?
We like to purchase BBQ from a local BBQ place here in TX called Hutchins, it’s the best! But, we also purchase premade BBQ from stores like HEB or Costco so you could look at those places as well.
