Raise your hand if you always get caught without a little green on on St. Patrick’s Day? {Raises hand!!!} I try to make sure my kiddos at least have some green on their socks on St. Paddy’s, while I usually stroll out of the house in a black t-shirt and jeans…ugh, epic Irish girl fail, right? This year though, I.am.prepared!
I picked up a super soft grey t-shirt, and asked my friend from Pineapple Paper Co. to hand letter “Pinch Proof” with a little shamrock for me to turn into an SVG file to cut with my Cricut!
In less than 10 minutes, I had the email sent, the file converted and uploaded to Design Space, and my shirt made! Seriously!!!
If you have a Cricut already, you can cut your time in half at least, and use this link and cut file. {Be sure to resize it to fit your shirt, and don’t forget to mirror the cut}
I wanted to have the text gold and the shamrock green, but you can change that too! Once the Iron On Vinyl was cut and weeded, I was ready to EasyPress it! I set the EP at 360* and 30 seconds. I may have held the press on a few extra seconds while I daydreamed, but just check to see if the vinyl has properly adhered to the shirt. Next, I flipped my shirt inside out and EasyPressed it for another thirty-ish seconds.
That’s it! Seriously, they cutest, easiest way to stay pinch proof on St. Paddy’s Day! You can download the free SVG file here. Be sure to head to my shop for more SVG files too!
