March Madness Basketball Party

Every year when March rolls around there are a few things that we get excited about, warmer weather, spring break, and of course March Madness! I’m a big sports fan and it’s no secret that we celebrate big around here, from our annual Super Bowl party to our tournament kickoff March Madness Basketball party we like to get together with friends to cheer on our favorite teams.

This year I partnered with Oriental Trading to show you how to create your own slam dunk March Madness party.  You can pop over to the Oriental Trading Fun365 site to for all of the party details, including recipes for Slam Dunk Cantaloupe Dippers, Buzzer Beater Brownie Bites, and a Beer Pong Basketball Game that will have everyone taking shots.

I think watching sports is always more fun with friends around, which is probably why I love hosting game day parties.  One of the best parts of March Madness is putting together your bracket and trying to predict who will go all the way.  Before the tournament starts have everyone fill out their bracket and then host a kick-off party and let the madness begin!

Some of my favorite highlights from our basketball themed March Madness party include the simple basketball court chalkboard backdrop, the neutral black and white stripes and of course the fun basketball themed treats.

Make sure you head over to the Oriental Trading Fun365 site to get all of the details, plus a complete shopping list for everything you’ll need to host your own basketball themed party. Whether you are getting together to fill out your brackets or you’re watching the final four, you’ll be prepared with this creative and fun March Madness Basketball Party.
