Touchdown Super Bowl Party Ideas

Football is a way of life here in Texas. In high school Friday night football games were the place to be, in college Saturday’s were all about tailgating , and now our family crowds on the couch on Sunday’s to root for our hometown team. I love watching football, and it’s even more fun when your watching it with friends.  This year gather your friends together to throw the ultimate Super Bowl Party.  It will be a breeze with these fun, easy and creative Touchdown Superbowl Party Ideas.

If I’m being honest, a big part of my love for the game has to to do with the social part of it.  I love a party with good food and great friends. It’s become a tradition for us to host an annual Super Bowl party, and every year I try to find ways to make it both fun and easy. Like most of my parties simplicity is key.  I want to enjoy hanging out with friends and watching the game, not stressed out about planning a party, making food and figuring out how to keep it all warm.

I recently teamed up with Oriental Trading to share the perfect Super Bowl party solution, a Touchdown Nacho Bar.  Everybody will love this self-serve nacho station and you’ll love the fact that you can prepare most of the food ahead of time, and all you have to do on game day is make sure to keep the condiment container full.  Now that is what I call a touchdown!

My favorite part of this nacho bar is the Cheesy Chili Dip. I think cheese dip is a necessity at any football party and this hearty dip is so good don’t be surprised if you find your guest eating it with a spoon!

Some of our other favorite game day foods include

Brisket Sliders with Spicy Jalapeno Coleslaw

Referee Coke Floats

Tailgate Chopped Tater Tots

Not only will you be set with delicious food, but I’m also sharing a super fun Football Bingo Game that will keep everyone young and old entertained.  We have our fingers crossed that the Dallas Cowboys will actually make it to the big game this year, but just in case they don’t we will have something to make the game interesting in fun.  Visit the Oriental Trading blog to get the free printable Football Bingo Game.

When it comes to planning and decorating for your Super Bowl party remember to keep things simple. I believe that the little details are what make it a party your guest will remember.  You don’t have to go all out when it comes to the decorations, but a few simple details will make the party extra special and fun.  Some of my favorite ideas for making things extra fun include:

Referee Water Bottles

DIY Lombardi Football Trophy

DIY Chalkboard Football Drink Labels

Football Tailgate Party Cups
