Happy holidays friends! Can you believe we are in THE middle of the holiday season already? I am still in disbelief that Thanksgiving has come and gone but I am soooooooo excited for this month because of all the fun, festivities and family time that this season brings – it is by far, MY favorite time of year.
This month I designed a super fun and festive FREE cell phone wallpaper background to download, so you can get you into the holiday spirit and “FaLaLaLaLa LaLaLaLa” throughout the season too!
I start decorating as soon as Halloween is over since it takes me so long to do, as I literally go all out -“Griswold” style at my home for the holidays. There can NOT be enough Christmas decorating in my house! lol We decorate almost every room, put up different themed trees throughout our home and have a giant 9 ft tree in our living room, so like I said, it takes a little longer to get it all done but we don’t mind as we enjoy every part of the season.
One of the things that I look forward to the most, is the Christmas music!!!! Anyone who knows me already knows that I have music on constantly, so it may come as no surprise that my monthly FREEBIE for Giggles Galore readers has to do with a little infamous holiday song! 😉 I mean c’mon, WHO doesn’t love Christmas music?!
As you already know, I LOVE changing up my cell phone backgrounds every month and this month I wanted something that would really put me in the ‘Christmas spirit’ every time I went to open or use my phone. I love mixing in a different unexpected color into a traditional Christmas color palette so I added a little hot pink as an accent with the green and red. I wanted this background to have just the right amount of whimsical fun graphic art so I drew some peppermint candies to add out on the edges to give it that extra touch of fun while keeping it clean looking on the crisp white background. You will also notice the traditional holly berries on the ends of some of the hand lettering.
In case you have never switched out your cell phone background wallpaper, no worries as I am here to walk you through it as it’s simple to do if you follow these few steps: from your cell phone, save this digital wallpaper design (below) by tapping and holding on the photo of the design. Choose ‘save image’ and it should save right into your photo album on your cell phone.
Next step: go under settings, click on wallpaper and then ‘choose a new wallpaper’. Find the ‘FaLaLaLaLa‘ design on your camera roll, select by clicking it, adjust to your liking and then click on the ‘set’ button. It will then ask if you want to ‘set lock screen’ or ‘set home screen’ or perhaps you’d like to do both. Personally I just do my ‘lock screen’ (which is what you see here in this post) but you do what you like best. If you want to see it every time you look at your phone, then choose this option. If you were to choose the ‘home screen’ option it will show up behind your icon buttons on your phone – just FYI.
See that was super easy right? Hopefully these simple directions were easy to understand and it worked for you. By the way, I do have an I-phone and this is what my settings were called but if you have something else, the steps should be close to what I explained here. You should be able to still get it to work but please ask if you have any questions!
This FREE digital wallpaper design is for personal use ONLY and can NOT be sold or claimed as your own design. By downloading and using this design, you are agreeing to these terms.
