This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Lean Cuisine, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #HonestlyGood#ad http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.
As a busy mom and business owner I often struggle with finding balance for all the things that are important in my life, including eating healthy. My role as a business owner, wife and mom has changed over the years and with that ebb and flow so have my priorities. Unfortunately, between juggling 3 kids, school schedules, work meetings, soccer practice and family life I often forgot to include myself on that priority list.
As women why do we struggle so much with making our health and well-being a priority? Tell me I’m not the only one who struggles with this. You may be familiar with the excuses, “I don’ t have time for that”, “I’ll get to it someday” or “It could be worse.” That’s what I’ve been telling myself the past year as I slowly gained weight and quit putting my health and well-being as a priority. No more excuses.
I was excited when I found the new Lean Cuisine Honestly Good Meals, now I can focus on making healthy choices and be an example for my daughters while still enjoying flavorful, delicious food that will help me reach my personal goals.
Lean Cuisine has launched a NEW collection of Lean Cuisine Honestly Good meals featuring six different varieties full of 100% all natural, wholesome ingredients with a sauce you can add yourself. With flavors like Honey Citrus Chicken, Lemongrass Salmon, Pineapple Black Pepper Beef, and Pomegranate Chicken you’ll forget you just picked up lunch or dinner from the frozen meal section at the grocery store!
When it comes to lunch I’m usually on the go or too busy trying to wrap up work projects before school pick up that I neglect to take the time to eat or worse I grab something with little nutritional value. I loved that the meals are easy and perfectly portioned with lots of veggies to help keep you feeling satisfied and full.
The Honey Citrus Chicken was tender and had a slight kick which really gave it a boost of flavor. The veggies were perfectly steamed, not soggy like you find in other frozen meals. It was so good…like lick the plate good!
And with under 350 calories I can stay on track with my personal goals. I simply scan the barcode on the back with my phone and I can easily keep track of the nutritional information for my food journal.
My lunchtime is officially getting a makeover and I’m replacing those unhealthy habits with new all natural, flavorful ones. So, if you’re like me and can relate to the struggle of finding balance, especially with eating healthy head to your local Target, grab some Lean Cuisine Honestly Good Meals and make the commitment to invest in YOU and your well-being!
I totally agree, it is so hard to juggle! I love how you track with the bar code, how did we survive without smart phones?
I need to look for these at my store! Looks so yummy! Thanks for the tip!
These look great!! I love Lean Cuisine but haven’t tried the Honestly Good Meals yet. 🙂
I love that picture of you trying to juggle everything! Great post 🙂
I used to eat Lean Cuisines all the time, but it’s been awhile since I’ve purchased one. I’ll have to try these…they look really good, and I need all the help I can get with portion control!
You are definitely not the only one. This is a daily struggle for me. I dream frequently of hiring a personal chef to strike off one of the many important tasks in my life. But this is a much more cost effective way that I haven’t thought of yet. Thanks for easing up the work load today.
It’s definitely hard to make that good lunch choice. These Lean Cuisine Honestly Good meals sound like a good option. I’m interested to read the ingredient list next time I’m at Target.
That looks so easy!
I’m always looking for new lunch options- definitely need to check these out! Thanks for sharing!
Looks like it was delish… I think life is a balance anyway. Glad it’s not just me.
Love the bar code tip and I love that LC now has natural choices! That makes the sodium much less!
I wonder if my daughter, who is always on the go w/ school and her internship and training, would eat these? hmmmm. {I can’t because of the pasta, but it’s worth a try!}
