I love being able to transform an ordinary cloth napkins into a fun Halloween napkins with just a few supplies. I was super excited to use the new 6×7 Cricut EasyPress 2. This fabulous raspberry color and perfectly petite EasyPress is ideal for pint-size projects, like these DIY Halloween napkins. Combining the speed of a heat press with the convenience of an iron the EasyPress gives you fast and foolproof results that really stick, even after repeated washes.

These napkins are super easy to make with your Cricut machine, but they do require a little bit of patience and time. But don’t worry, I’ve done most of the work for you. Just follow this simple tutorial and use my Halloween Napkin Cricut Design File to create your very own set of fun DIY Halloween Napkins.
Supplies:
- Cricut Maker
- Cricut EasyPress 2
- Cricut EasyPress Mat
- Cricut Iron On
- Black
- White
- Cricut weeding tool
- 4 Cloth Napkins (Purple, Green, Orange and Gray)
- Cricut Felt (Black and Gray)
Step 1: Start by opening up the free Halloween Napkin file in Cricut Design Space.
Step 2: Measure the length and width of your cloth napkins. This is super important because each one may vary and you will want to make sure you adjust the images in Design File to match the size of your napkins.
Step 3: Cut out the images in the black and white iron-on vinyl. Use the Cricut weeding tool to remove the excess vinyl from the image.
Step 4: Piece the images together and start with the bottom layer first. So for example, on the Frankenstien napkin I used the EasyPress 2 to iron on the white parts of his eyes first.
Step 5: Next, use the 6×7 Cricut Easy Press 2 to iron on the black vinyl, being careful to make sure your layers match up.
Step 6: Remove the protective cover sheet to reveal your new DIY Halloween Napkin.
Step 7: Note, for the Frankenstein and Vampire Bat napkins I cut the bolts and wings out of Cricut felt and hand stitched them to the inside of the napkin.
Step 8 : Repeat steps 1-6 and continue making the rest of the fun Halloween napkin characters.
Now you are all set for a spooktacular family Halloween dinner, or a one-of-a-kind kid-friendly party! I’ve always believed that it’s the little details that make things memorable and these 4 fun DIY Halloween napkins are sure to make your Halloween celebrations EXTRAORDINARY!
I can’t decide, but I think the mummy and the vampire bat are in a close race for my favorite. Which one is your favorite?

Hi Evelyn, I found these napkins at Pier 1. The green, gray and orange ones were in the clearance section and the purple came in a set of 6. If you haven’t already you may also want to check with World Market because I know they sell a variety of colored napkins. 🙂
