I teamed up with Oriental Trading to welcome goblin, ghosts, and witches to our Black Hat Inn complete with broom parking, potions, and a DIY Bubbling Cauldron.
Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. I love decking out our house both inside and out. Over the years I’ve transformed our porch into a Haunted Mansion and a Dead and Breakfast Inn. Now I’m channeling my inner witch to create a spooky Halloween Front Porch.
How to Create Spooky Halloween Front Porch
When it comes to decorating your front porch think beyond the front door. Add spooktacular yard decorations like this trio of Glowing Witches. Gathered around their DIY bubbling cauldron they light up and give off a slightly eerie glow.
Greet guests as they approach your front door with a life-size witch that cast spells as trick-or-treaters approach. Up the spooky factor by adding fog and a giant cauldron of candy.
Illuminate the porch with glowing floating witches hats that hang and sway from the ceiling. It adds such a cool effect and is an easy DIY.
If you’ll be welcoming guests to your Black Hat Inn you’ll need to have a place for them to park their brooms! I create a DIY Broom Parking Sign and transformed my DIY Dead and Breakfast Sign into a Black Hat Inn welcome sign with my Cricut.
Pay attention to the little details and don’t forget to add spider webs, flying bats, and lots of pumpkins
