Do you go all out with your Halloween decor or do you prefer to keep it simple? I personally love decorating for Halloween. It’s one of the few holidays that I go all out and decorate not only the inside of my home, but the outside too. This year we are celebrating in a big way with a spooky Halloween Haunted Mansion Front Porch makeover that will spook and delight friends, neighbors and trick-or-treaters.
I have been collecting spooky Halloween decorations for a few years, and this year I teamed up with Oriental Trading to complete my haunted mansion decorations for my front porch. I’m a firm believer in making good first impressions and your front porch is your first chance to make an impression on your visitors. It’s a glimpse of what they can expect when they enter your home.
My porch is my happy place and normally, I want it to be welcoming and inviting. But, when it comes to Halloween, I want visitors to know just how much we love Halloween. As guest show up for our annual Murder Mystery Dinner Party I want them to know that they are in for a frightfully fun evening.
I want trick-or-treaters to ooh and awe as they skip up the walkway to retrieve their candy from our haunted house. So this year I decked out our porch with bone-rattling skeletons, a creepy couple and lots of little spooky details that will make visitors squeal with delight.
Our Halloween decorations this year make me giddy. I love how extraordinary this haunted display turned out and can’t wait to add to it next year. You too can create your own Halloween Haunted Mansion Front Porch, head on over to the Oriental Trading Blog for all of the spooktacular details.
