Thanksgiving is a holiday smooshed between Halloween and Christmas and often times overlooked for it potential, especially when it comes to outdoor decor. Think about it though, this is a holiday that brings lots of visitors to your home and the perfect opportunity to infuse a little outdoor Thanksgiving decor to greet your guest. If lots of people will be knocking on your door dress it up with this easy 5 minute fall wreath.
I was inspired by the 5 minute wreath tutorial from A Blissful Nest and used it to create my own easy-peasy wreath. I made it even simpler and tore 2 inch strips of fabric. To tear the fabric you will hold it length wise, cut a small snip every two inches and tear away. The fabric will tear in perfectly even 2 inch strips and have slightly frayed edges which I love.
Next, just start wrapping the strips around the wreath form (I used a straw wreath from Hobby Lobby) and secure them on the back with a straight pin.
Once you’ve completely covered the wreath you can add your creative touch. I added some moss, pumpkins and flowers for a modern fall look.
Now that your door is looking fancy with a beautiful 5 minute wreath it’s time to start planning your Thanksgiving feast! And don’t forget to check out my post about adding a custom pumpkin topiary to your porch, as well as ideas for nature inspired Thanksgiving Table Settings.
