Today’s MTM theme was leftovers and while I had leftovers in the fridge I really didn’t want to eat them today. So I took a slightly different direction (but still used some of those leftovers) and created a “Make Your Own Salad” Muffin Tin.
I put lettuce in the middle of a big plate and filled the muffin tins with yummy toppings Aubrey could add to create her own salad. There was one rule – she had to use at least one item from each tin.
Here is what we had for lunch:
Lettuce, chicken, pepperoni, tomatoes, olives, carrots, cheese, croutons, ranch

Cute idea! I'm not a big leftovers fan, so do just about anything to avoid them. I like this idea though!
