Love is in the Air Airplane Themed Bridal Shower

I recently teamed up with Oriental Trading to create a bright and airy airplane themed bridal shower with paper airplanes, pastel tassel garlands, balloons and suitcases to shower the bride-to-be with lots of love.

Paper airplanes are such a fun and whimsical symbol that evoke a carefree attitude.  The paper airplane is the perfect symbol to represent a couple joining their lives together and letting the wind take them where they need to go on this new adventure.  I can’t think of a better way to help the couple soar into their new life together than a heartfelt celebration full of adventure and love.

Whenever I plan a party I like to focus on a few key elements that will make the party feel special without breaking the bank.  One of the ways to do this is to reuse household items or decor.  I used my vintage desk as the dessert table and pulled in vintage suitcases, DIY faux globe to add to the travel-themed decor.
