Dress up your drinks this summer with Herb Infused Ice Cubes. This giant ice cubes are the perfect way to brighten up your summer beverage with tons of flavor combinations ideal for a glass of water, lemonade or your favorite cocktail.
The other day while running some errands I spotted this Colossal Cube silicone tray on sale and I couldn’t resist picking it up. I’ve recently given up drinking Coke (it was painfully hard, I love Coke!) and started drinking water…lots and lots of water. Every now and then I just want to drink something full of flavor so I decided to brighten up my water with these Herb Infused Ice Cubes.
I started by picking some herbs from our garden, I used mint, basil and rosemary. I made lemon and lime slices and curls for garnish as well.
Fill your ice cube tray with water and then get creative with your flavor combinations. Put in the freezer and after a few hours you have refreshing and flavorful ice cubes.
I love how the flavor of the mint and citrus unravel as I sip on my water.
These herb infused ice cubes would also be perfect for outdoor summer entertaining. Put them in a chilled bowl and let guest transform their drinks with flavorful combinations. They would be the perfect addition to my Lemonade Bar, which I’m sharing over at I Heart Naptime today! Jamielyn has a fun Hello Summer series on I Heart Naptime full of great summer crafts, recipes and more!
What’s your favorite way to dress up your water or summer drinks?
Gonna try this for sure! They look so pretty too!
What a great idea in this Texas heat. Can’t wait to use this idea with my next brunch!
Thanks Autumn, they really are quite refreshing and incredibly simple!
What a fun idea! I’m pinning it to save for later.
I gave up soda about 14 months ago, and it’s been a WONDERFUL decision. I’m sure you’ll start to enjoy how you feel once you get used to it. 🙂
Thanks Jenn, it’s been rough giving up soda…but I can already tell what a difference it is making and finding other ways to enjoy a refreshing drink like these ice cubes have really helped!
