Today’s craft was inspired by Filth Wizardy. I told Aubrey we were going up to Daddy’s office to eat lunch with him for his birthday and she wanted to make him a present. When I asked her what she wanted to give him she said flowers, so we set to work creating a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
Here is how you can make your own:
1. Draw flowers, leaves and a circle on cardboard (we used cereal boxes) and cut out the shapes.2. Glue a toilet paper roll to the circle with a hot glue gun, creating your vase.
3. Let your toddler paint the flowers and the vase.4. Once everything is dry attach the flowers and leaves to the pipe cleaners.
5. Embellish flowers and then arrange them in the vase. We stuffed newspaper & green tissue paper in the tube to hold everything in place.
6. Add a cute bumblebee (we made ours with a yellow pom pom, black pipe cleaners, eyes & the glue gun.)
7. Present your beautiful bouquet to your loved one!
Aubrey was excited and couldn’t wait to take Daddy his flowers (oh and let’s not forget “eat cake at his party!”)
Awwww! You got some great pics of the kiddos with Justin! 🙂 I'm glad they enjoyed his “party”! LOL!
