Still need gift ideas for your teens?
Why You Should Give Cash for Christmas
If your teenagers are anything like mine their Christmas wish lists keep getting longer and more expensive every year. Not to mention that they almost always ask for things that are impossible to find in stores during the busy holiday season.
Giving them the gift of cash will allow them to spend it on whatever they want. And it can help you stay within your budget too.
Gift cards are a popular option as well, but gift cards often get stored away and forgotten about too. Do you know anyone with a stack of gift cards piled up in their dresser or wallet?
Gift cards also may require the recipient to spend a certain amount at once, but cash can be used whenever and however the recipient sees fit, cash simply allows for more flexibility and spontaneity.
How to Make DIY Christmas Money Holders
It’s easy to whip out a bunch of these little cards to give cash to everyone on your Christmas list, especially those people who are hard to shop for.
Of course, you could just give them store store-bought card with some money in it, but what’s the fun in that? I love making the gifts feel a little extra special by using creative ways to display the money, like these clear plastic adhesive money holders.
