We can’t believe it’s time for Back to School already! Summer has been so busy, filled with fun vacations and lasting memories. With summer coming to an end, it’s time to start the back to school shopping. Clothes, supplies, and a seemingly endless amount of school lunches and snacks, all on the to do list. But first, we party!
With a preschooler in the house, the start of school is exciting and we love to have a little back to school party. Since we were celebrating the start of preschool, we chose A is for Apple as our party theme.
The dessert table was full of apple themed desserts. Apple iced cookies, apple cake pops, and apple cupcakes. The centerpiece was an apple themed cake with one of our custom cake toppers.
Our alphabet banner was the perfect decoration for our table and so easy to make! We used the free printable Alphabet Flash Cards from Mr. Printables. Print and cut, then string on your choice of ribbon. So easy and then you can reuse them for a learning tool for your child. We love reusing party decor!
Morsels Party Planning and Giggles Galore have teamed up to offer one special back to school party package to one of our readers. One of you will win 1/2 dozen cake pops, the printables and custom cake topper seen here, and a $25 Michael’s gift card! Michael’s has everything you need to throw an amazing back to school celebration!
Start a new family tradition and make extraordinary memories with your kids with this sweet Back to School Party.
Our traditions for back to school are shopping for clothes and food for lunches!
My favorite Back to School tradition is new clothes shopping.
Oh that is the best, it was one of my favorite things as a kid too!
Taking a picture on the first day of school! Even my husband had his mom do this all through his school life!
Awww, sweet I love that the tradition is carried on from your husbands memories as well!
We like taking first day of school pictures.
It’s such a great way to remember each year and what they looked like, isn’t it.
We have a special school-themed treat on the first day of school … it’s different every year.
Yum, and I bet your treats are super creative and fun!
We love to having a special breakfast that morning, then walking to school together as a family and taking a few pictures.
So sweet, I usually prepare a special breakfast too although sometimes they are too excited to even it. 🙂
Super adorable party idea. Love it!
Thank you so much Sarah, it was such a great way to kick off the school year!
