Let’s face it, life feels a little crazy right now. But there is also so much inspiration and kindness being displayed by others helping us get through these uncertain times. I wanted to do my part to help spread joy where I can so I created a DIY Thank You Sign for Delivery Drivers to show them how much we appreciate their continued dedication and service.
I’ve teamed up with Cricut to participate in the COVID Kindness Campaign and I’m challenging you to join in the fun. While we may not be able to do much from our homes, we can spread joy and kindness with simple things like a handmade sign for delivery workers.
Delivery Drivers are working around the clock to make sure our orders are being delivered on time. Let’s show our appreciation and make their day with a DIY thank you sign and snack station to help keep them going.

How to Make DIY Thank You Sign
These are definitely strange times, but it’s in stressful times like this that I turn to crafts. Crafting is one of my true passions, I love being able to use my hands and create something that will be useful or bring joy to others.
This DIY hanging Thank You Sign for Delivery Drivers can be hung from the front door like a wreath.
Start by cutting a piece of canvas fabric to create your banner. I made mine 11 x 15.
Next, open up Cricut Design Space and the DIY Thank You for Delivery Drivers SVG file. Choose from one of the two styles and click on the green “Make” it button.
Use the weeding toolset to weed the iron-on vinyl.
Place the design on your canvas banner and make sure you have it centered in place.
Use the EasyPress 2 to iron-on the design.
Let the iron-on cool and peel back the transfer sheet to reveal the design.
Create a colorful yarn tassel to hang from the side of the banner using yarn, painted wood beads, and pom-poms.
Create a pocket at the top of the banner large enough for a thin dowel rod to slide through. I used my sewing machine to sew a pocket, however, you could also use hot glue or fabric glue to create a pocket too.
Hang the banner from your front door and proudly join in the COVID Kindness movement.
Delivery Driver Thank You Printable
Let’s take things one step further and give back to those delivery drivers that are working around the clock to make sure we can shop for essentials from the comfort of our home.
I created a simple Delivery Driver Thank You Printable and snack station to go with my hanging banner.
Simply download the free printable Delivery Driver Thank You Printable and print it out on white cardstock.
Fill a basket with water bottles and snacks and place it on your front porch with the printable sign so the drivers know to grab something after they drop off your packages.
This is such a simple and easy way to give back, and one that will surely be appreciated too!
There is no link for the cut file. Where can I get this?
Hi Brianna, sorry about that. Here is the link to the project in Cricut Design Space https://design.cricut.com/landing/project-detail/5ea8cfabe3bfb20b4c919d9d. Let me know if you have trouble accessing the file.
Hi! I’m interested in the post that your sign is hanging on! Did you make that? Can you provide details? Thanks!!
Hi Jen, Yes I made the black post the sign is hanging on several years ago. I used a 4×4, and a 1×6 and cut the 1×6 into two 5 1/2″ squares and two 4 1/2″ squares for the top and bottom. I painted it black and then added a metal hook to the front. I don’t have a tutorial, but I am sure you can search for a tutorial on Pinterest for a 4×4 porch post sign and find a few step-by-step tutorials.
