Have you ever experienced that throbbing pain, smack dab between your eyes…you know the one that feels like at any given moment your head might explode? Yep, me too.
I had never experienced problems with allergies or sinus pain, but a few years after my twins were born I started to suffer from these miserable colds often. After lots of tests and battles with sinus pressure and pain my doctor explained that the birth of my twins (and all the hormonal changes) may have triggered allergies and sinus problems that didn’t exist before. Those pesky little colds were packing a big punch that left me feeling drained and unable focus on my day to day tasks. Fortunately, my doctor recommended I try taking Sudafed the second I felt those tell-tale symptoms associated with sinus colds. Since then I have always have it in the medicine cabinet (and I even carry some in my purse too!) So when I had the opportunity to partner with and tell you about their new OPEN UP™ application on Facebook I couldn’t wait to try it out.
Sudafed’s fun new app will help you connect with other allergy and sinus suffers just like you, plus save some money with a printable coupon. And you can even create a photo that expresses how sinus pressure makes you feel to enter Sudafed’s national contest for a chance to win $5,000!
Click the start button, open a photo, add some pictures and doodle away. My sinus problems feel like someone is beating me over the head with a sledge hammer, my nose is a swollen red mess and I’m convinced that at any moment my head is going to explode like a rocket!
When your done with your photo, fill in the information and submit it to the contest. You’ll even have the chance to print off a few coupons.
When I read this infographic that Sudafed put together I kept nodding my head in agreement. I can relate to many of these, especially the part about being willing to give up something for a year if it meant I would never have to experience sinus pressure again. Can you relate to any of these?
Sudafed knows that suffering from sinus pressure and pain can leave individuals feeling crushed, beat down, congested and even squeezed, desperately looking for a way to open up. Serious sinus sufferers are invited to creatively share how their sinus pain and pressure looks and feels to them by using Sudafed’s OPEN UP™ application on Facebook.
Then, beginning on December 2, the Sudafed Facebook community will vote for one of five finalist sketches that best illustrates the pains of sinus pressure. The winner will receive $5,000 and a chance to have their work included in a Sudafed advertising campaign. For more information, visit the Sudafed Facebook page.

Love that infographic.
I love how quickly Sudafed works to stop congestion symptoms.
My husband is the one who has issues with sinus pain. He has never tried Sudafed yet so I’ll be recommending this to him.
My husband and I are both life long sinus sufferers, and Sudafed is our BFF. Heading to enter the contest now…
Sudafed is a lifesaver in this house!
