Rustic Easter Centerpiece

March is here and spring is definitely in bloom.  Today I’m embracing spring’s arrival and getting ready for Easter entertaining with a beautiful, easy and Rustic Easter Centerpiece.

In addition to a super easy and fun tutorial I also have some VERY exciting news to share with you, so make sure you read all the way to the end for the chance of a lifetime!

I love spring and it’s promise of fresh and new.  It’s the season for rebirth, renewal and regrowth and it fills me with excitement and joy.  I especially love being able to bring those beautiful reminders of it’s glorious beauty into my home.  Just by swapping out a few decor pieces or adding a lovely floral arrangement you can completely transform your home for the fresh, new season.  And with Michaels new Floral Market, with over 500 blooms and freshly picked projects, you don’t have to worry about keeping it alive all season.

I will be hosting Easter Brunch this year and have decided to style our table with the simple, rustic touches of spring.  I decided to keep things fairly neutral and save the pastel colors for another time.  I found my DIY Twig Vase while cleaning out my craft storage and knew that it would be the perfect vessel for my spring blooms from Michaels.

In less than 30 minutes you too can create a beautiful centerpiece for your Easter table.  Here is what you will need:

• Rustic Twig Vase – click here for the easy DIY tutorial
• 3-4 Floral Bunches
• Floral Foam
• Twine or Ribbon
• Wood Charger

Start by cutting the floral foam so that if fits inside your DIY Twig Vase

Next, determine the length of your bouquet and use wire cutters to cut off the excess stems.

Now you can begin by inserting the floral bunches into the vase until you have the desired look you want.  Wrap the DIY twig vase with twine or ribbon to finish the look.

Place the floral arrangement on a wood charger and add any additional rustic details like a birds nest and ceramic birds, like we did.
