Shortly after Christmas I finally got a new camera and I love it! I still have LOTS and LOTS to learn about how to use it. I love that I finally am able to capture good pictures of my kids and their silly antics. It’s also been great for documenting all of my craft projects. 🙂
I had a Valentine’s party and some of my favorite girl friends and their kiddos came over to celebrate. When it was time to take a group photo we all pulled out the exact same camera, identical in every way. The whole afternoon we kept wondering who’s camera was whose.
I have seen tons of DIY camera straps and knew that I really needed one so I wouldn’t get my camera mixed up with my friends. I searched for tutorials and found a few I liked, but ultimately combined elements from two…Cluck Cluck Sew and Crap I’ve Made.
I didn’t want to completely deconstruct mine, I just wanted it to slip over the existing strap. Mainly because my husband was less than thrilled about me adding ruffles to the camera, and reminded me that he still needs to use it too.
I found some fun fabric and made 2 versions so I can switch them out when I get bored with the other one. Now I love my new camera even more
