Outdoor movie nights are a fun way my family enjoys watching movies. Living in California we still get to enjoy a little evening time outside during December. So, I created a Christmas outdoor movie night!
I set up our inflatable movie screen, set out some chairs, and added a little concession stand table for all the movie night guests.
Everyone was so excited to watch Santa Claus is coming to town!
While out shopping, I stumbled upon the cutest fleece blanket throws! The colors & theme couldn’t have been more perfect. I set them inside a red basket, and let the guests grab them if needed.
After I found the blankets, I created a fun banner that coordinated with our Christmas themed movie night party. I love when holiday parties don’t have to be traditional. It’s fun to get creative!
I embellished some plastic popcorn tubs with festive Christmas light cut outs.
Treat boxes were set out for when our movie guests wanted to leave and take some treats home with them. A few of them loaded up these festive take out boxes with popcorn.
Fun photo props are always a hit! I set them inside a small mason jar, and let the guests get silly.
Mini cans of instant snow were a crowd favorite! I set out enough cans for all the movie night guests to take home with them. I found them at my local Dollar Tree.
I was able to make our chairs a bit more festive by adding Santa hat chair backs. Even the littlest detail can make a simple chair appear more fun!
What are some of the things you like to do with your family during the holidays? I highly recommend putting together a Christmas movie night party. My family & I had such a great time!
