My oh my how we have missed Muffin Tin Monday! We have been quite busy this July and have been on several vacations so we have missed the last few MTM, but we are back and I was excited to see that today’s theme was “Dips & Sauces.”
I have seen this idea several times now over at Her Cup Overfloweth and have been waiting for the right time to use it. For today’s muffin tin we made “monkey bites” and they were a huge hit. You have to try this!
We had peanut butter & maple syrup for our sticky dip, chocolate chips & crushed walnuts for our toppings. We used sliced bananas to make our delicious “monkey bites.” This was an easy and scrumptious snack and my little monkey sure enjoyed them.
Looks delicious! I do want to give that a try too!
That is a good one, I will have to try that with my guy. 🙂
Those look so yummy, I need to make them sometime.
I LOVE the monkey bite idea. I will have to pick up bananas and make that for dessert soon. THanks for the inspiration!

Your tins are always too cute!! You've got to let me know where you got those adorable flower tins too–my daughter would LOVE those!!
Yum! I love bananas & love the Monkey Bites idea… we often set out bananas, honey and nuts for dipping but adding the chocolate chips would be so delicious!
I love bananas and peanut butter! Super yummy tin!
Love this idea.
Yay! I almost did that one too, but my bananas turned bad really fast!
I used white candy melts and sprinkles for the pretzel rods. Now that I heard about the MTM swap, I know what is going on my wish list–those adorable flower cups you used today:-)!!
Ooh, what adorable “tins!”
