On a hot summer day nothing beats the heat like cool, refreshing lemonade. And nothing is sweeter than kids serving up a refreshing glass of lemonade at their lemonade stand. This classic summer activity is perfect: the kids have fun being outside, they learn the value of hard work and the basic principles of earning and saving money.
I was at the grocery store the other day and a yellow sand bucket caught my eye. I picked it up and immediately fell in love with the idea…make your own Lemonade Stand. Darling! However, I knew I didn’t want to pay $15 for it and I was certain I could make a much cuter version. I came home that evening and got to work.
I picked up yellow sand buckets from the dollar store. I had to switch out the shovels so they would match my pink & green theme. I decided this would be a perfect gift for several of our friends who have summer birthdays and needed boy & girl versions.
Next, I got out my trusty Cricut and cut pink and green vinyl out for the front of the bucket.
I used some clipart and created a sign and labels. The kit includes: cups, straws, napkins, lemonade, paper and crayon to make the sign.
Because everything had to match I printed the “Enjoy” tags on sticker paper and stuck them on the pink cups.
I cut lemon shapes out of yellow scrapbook paper for the green cups.
We had leftover fancy straws from Aubrey’s Strawberry Shortcake party so I just added flags with coordinating scrapbook paper. I also threw in a lemon notebook (found at Target dollar spot) and some candy sticks.
I wrapped it in cellophane and tied with a bow for the perfect summer birthday present.
As with most of my projects I got carried away and we ended up having an impromptu lemonade party. I will be sharing the pictures from that soon!
I’m sharing this at the following linky parties. If you recreate your own Lemonade Stand kit I would love to see yours, so make sure you come back and share!

SO CUTE!!!! What program/machine do you use to make all the vinyl and cute cutouts?
Mariah says
Thanks! I have a Cricut and I use the Sure Cuts A Lot software for most of my projects, since I can use any font I want and create my own designs. However, I do have 2 cartridges (Storybook & Paper Dolls) which I love and use often.

I really love these graphics/labels! They are so cute!! I want to print them for a party but the download is not very pretty. It seems to have blue marks and is blurred. Could you email me with the graphics or how to dowload the labels correctly? I love the enjoy circle label and would love to make smaller ones! Thank you for sharing an awesome party!!
