I know that this time of year can be CRAZY busy so don’t fret, this is a quick and easy project that will take you less than 10 minutes. Here is what you’ll need:
- Wooden Spoons
- Cheesecloth cut into 1 inch strips
- Googly Eyes
- Glue
Start by putting a dab of glue at the base of the spoon handle. Place an edge of the 1″ strip of cheesecloth in the glue and hold in place for a few seconds.
Begin wrapping the cheesecloth around the spoon handle, crisscrossing in a few of the areas to make it look like a mummy. Once you’ve reached the end of the spoon handle add another dab of glue and secure it on the back side.
Add the googly eyes with a small dab of glue
That’s it, you are all done. You can even get your kids to help you wrap the mummy spoons, it’s just that easy!
Use black and white twine to secure the mummy wrapped spoons to mini layered pudding cups for an extra special after school treat or a one of a kind Halloween dessert at a festive Mummy and Me Party!
