This tasty and easy recipe is part of a sponsored post brought to you by Albertsons #StockUpSale, however as always all ideas and opinions are 100% my own.
Surprise your little goblins and ghost with this easy Halloween Chex Mix, a combination of sweet and salty snack mix that is guaranteed to be gobbled up!
This easy to make snack mix is addictive and it’s perfect for parties and makes great gifts too! Teachers, friends and neighbors will love getting a darling hand-painted candy corn pot filled with this delicious Halloween Chex Mix, and you will love how easy and affordable it is to make!
There are lots of recipes out there for homemade Chex Mix, but with the amazing savings on Chex Mix and General Mills Cereal at the Albertsons Stock Up Sale, going on now through October 14, I decided I would save myself some time and make this easy snack mix without the hassle of melting, baking or basting. Just throw it all together in a bowl, mix it up and serve! Plus with the Growing Local Learning Program you can earn Box Tops for Education, and when you buy any 10 participating Box Top Items (which includes Chex Mix and General Mills Cereal) you’ll get 25 bonus eBoxTops on your register receipt. How cool is that, you stock up and save on items your family love, plus you earn extra money for the school of your choice.
Ok, let’s get to it, here is what you’ll need to make this yummy Halloween Chex Mix Treat:
- Original Chex Mix
- General Mills Coco Puffs
- Popcorn
- Mini Marshmallows
- Candy Corn
Pour one bag of Original Check Mix into a large bowl
Add 1 cup of General Mills Coco Puffs
Next, add 1/2 cup of popcorn, 1/2 cup of marshmallows and 1/2 – 1 cup of candy corn.
Mix everything together for an easy sweet and salty treat.
Serve in a large bowl at parties
Or put it in individual cellophane bags, tie with ribbon and chalkboard tag that says “No Tricks Just Treats” and put it in the hand painted Halloween Candy Corn pots for a special gift.
