This darling Gingerbread Sleepover is the stuff little girl’s dreams are made of! A pastel pink world filled with candy, gingerbread houses, and miniature tents. All the little ladies in your life are going to be begging for this to become a holiday tradition.
A Real Live Candy Land
When I was young I used to fantasize about living in the gingerbread village our family made every year. I imagined it would be like living in a real life Candyland game. Creating this party took me right back to those childhood dreams. I had so much fun dreaming up ways to make it look like you’d stepped into a fairy tale.
Cozy Gingerbread Tents
The adorable gingerbread tents provided lots of inspiration. Every little girl will love snuggling up under her own gingerbread hideaway. Toss in a few pink pillows and a cozy blanket just in case someone decides to actually sleep.
Let the Gingerbread Man Be the Star
I added as many gingerbread touches as I could. A homemade gingerbread house centerpiece, gingerbread man drink bottles the extra fun gingerbread house cupcake cupboard.
Hard Candy Christmas
Although the main color is pink (very fashionable this holiday season!) the inclusion of the red and white in the backdrop and on the table made the stand out. But I love the pops of color the candy elements provided. Aren’t the plates precious? And check out the cute jelly bean garland and the honeycomb candy garland.
Treats and Sweets
For treats and desserts you’re going to want to include lots of gingerbread cookies and hot chocolate. It might even be a fun idea to let your young guest decorate their own cookies or gingerbread houses.
