Tis the season for Holiday parties. I don’t know about you, but I hate showing up to a holiday party without a gift for the hostess. A hostess gift can be as simple or elaborate as you would like, and no matter what, your hostess is sure to appreciate it.
I gathered several hostess gift ideas to share, from a small candle wrapped with a pretty bow to a full gift basket.
I saw these beautiful ceramic pumpkins at World Market. I bought one for myself, and one for my sweet friend that hosts Friendsgiving each year. I filled my friends pumpkin with her favorite wine, a few nice kitchen towels (that I monogrammed with my Cricut and EasyPress), a few wooden utensils, a candle, a new holiday ornament, and some candies. This gift basket is more elaborate than I would typically do, but it was for a dear friend, so it was worth it. You could substitute the pumpkin for a less expensive basket too.
Another great hostess gift is a bottle of wine. If I know my hostess well, I will buy her favorite brand and variety, if not, I try to buy a nice mid-price bottle. We always have several bottles of Chateau Ste. Michelle in our cabinet for ourselves and guests, and it’s our favorite for hostess gifts.
Finally, I love finding pretty candles and wrapping them with a simple bow. I love lighting a candle after a long day and relaxing. And after hosting a party, everyone could use a little relaxation!
