Easy Entertaining: Fall Coffee Bar

I’m always looking for a reason to hang out with friends and catch up.  The older I get I find that spending time with close girlfriends is essential for my sanity & my soul.  Now that fall is here, and the kids are in school, I thought it would be fun to host a few girlfriends over and catch up over coffee.  I set up a simple Fall Coffee Bar and invited friends over so we could take a break from the hustle and the bustle that comes with this time of year.

I’m excited to share this easy entertaining idea with you today, but I’m also super excited to welcome you to the 2017 Fall Party Hop!  I’ve teamed up with seventeen of the most creative and fun party gals to bring you the best Fall entertaining ideas!  Over the next few days you’ll have the chance to hop around and check out all of these creative ideas.

If you are stopping by from stop #4 Sara Sofia Productions, welcome.  If you haven’t had a chance to check out Sarah’s tips for Fall entertaining and her apple cider Moscow Mule make sure you hop on over and check it out.

Now, let’s chat coffee.  A simple fall coffee bar is one of the easiest ways you can entertain this fall.  As the weather cools off nothing beats a steamy, warm cup of coffee or hot cocoa.  The only thing that makes it better is enjoying it with friends!  Set up a designated area with your favorite fall blend of coffee and everything you and your guest will need to linger longer and enjoy some quality girl time.

I found inspiration for fall chalkboard art on Pinterest and used it to give the giant chalkboard in my kitchen a fall makeover.  Handlettering is not one of my gifts, but I love how this fall chalkboard art turned out.

I’m obsessed with all things pumpkins, and have been making everything from pumpkin chocolate chip cookies to homemade caramel pumpkin spice lattes.  In fact the pumpkin spice latte and the blue Chinet Comfort Cups are what inspired my color palette for this party.  I filled a tiered serving tray with mugs, my favorite fall blend and my favorite Lindt chocolate truffles, in matching colors of course.

I used my Cricut Maker to create a few DIY Fall Leather Coffee Cup Sleeves, I added those to the disposable Chinet Comfort Cups for my friends to take home a little reminder of our morning filled with laughter. End the morning on a sweet note with pumpkin spice cupcakes, or your favorite pumpkin bread.

I love entertaining, but I am a big believer in the fact that it doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive.  This easy entertaining idea to create your own Fall Coffee Bar is one of the easies ways you can entertain friends this holiday season.  But, I guarantee it will turn an ordinary morning into an extraordinary one!

I hope you will take the time to stop and sip on some coffee while catching up with friends this fall.  I also hope you’ll keep on partying with us and check out the next blog, The Celebration Shoppe, in our Fall Blog Hop Party.
