Some people love to cook, others enjoy gardening but me I truly love hosting parties. Entertaining is such a huge part of who I am, it makes my heart sing to have my home filled with friends and family. Whether we are gathered together to celebrate making it through the work week or special occasions like our Easter Egg Hunt Party, parties big and small make me happy!
This year our annual Easter Egg Hunt Party was inspired by this cute little porcelain bunny I picked up at Target.
I knew I wanted the party to be all about bunnies and decided to create the party as if all the kiddos attending where little bunnies. From what I hear bunnies love carrots, so it was only natural that they would be the focus of our party theme. I found the cutest party printable package from Love the Day and while it was originally created for a birthday celebration I asked my friend Lindi if she could update it for our Easter Egg Hunt Party and she knocked it out of the park, isn’t this printable package adorable?!
Remember parties don’t have to be complicated or over the top to be impressive and fun. I used items I already had like my lemonade stand and added simple details to store bought food to make this cute bunny approved dessert display. We planned simple activities like a bunny hop race, hunted Easter eggs and then let everyone lose with my favorite activity, confetti eggs!
For dessert our little bunnies nibbled on chocolate “Carrot Patch” cupcakes, carrot cake bunny bait, carrot patch chocolate covered marshmallows and mango peach V8 juice. Everything was easy to make and of course the kids were delighted to sample a few of the carrot inspired treats.
My family was introduced to the tradition of Cascarones, otherwise known as confetti eggs, when we moved to Texas many, many years ago. It’s one of those traditions that we happily adopted and now we can’t have an Easter celebration without them. But then again you can’t help but have a good time when confetti is flying, am I right?
I found the cutest carrot shaped bubbles at the Target Dollar Spot and added them to a cellophane bag with green grass filler and attached the “Thanks for Hopping Over” tags for a simple party favor.
All in all I’d say our little bunnies had a fantastic time at our Easter Egg Hunt Party and this mama was pretty happy too. My home was filled with giggling children, sweet treats and lots of memories being made, and that my friends is why I love hosting parties and entertaining!

Oh my goodness Mariah! This is the cutest Easter party I have ever seen! And it was all inspired by a little white bunny! Everything is just perfect. I love how you used a lot of greens and oranges to have it really bright and say ‘spring’ all over it. Now I really want to throw a little Easter egg hunt party!
Hope you are having a lovely day!

I purchased edible Easter grass and just snipped off a few pieces to make the stems, but I think you could use any type of soft green candy.
