Create a DIY Hat Bar Station
One of my favorite elements is the covered wagon DIY hat bar where guests can personalize their own hat to wear and take home as a party favor.
Living in Texas I have a soft spot for cowboy boots and hats and love any excuse to wear them. This western-inspired holiday party is the perfect time to dust off my boots and encourage my friends to join in the fun and don their own cowboy hats.
Western Themed Holiday Food
Now all you have to do is rustle up some grub! Whether you’re serving traditional barbecue or cowboy chili you can bet your guests will appreciate the warm welcome of simpler times. The red plaid containers add the perfect amount of holiday spirit and using bandanas as napkins keep with the cowboy theme.
Serve cranberry holiday punch in these super fun cowboy boot cups.
Add to the down-home atmosphere by hiring a band and learning how to line dance. Or create your own playlist that includes country Christmas favorites like Run Run Rudolf, Hard Candy Christmas, and Thank God for Kids then let the toe-tapping begin.
