Hello!! I’m Toni from Design Dazzle! I love Giggles Galore {and Mariah}. She is a sweetheart! I’m sharing some fun ideas with you today while I guest post!
Recently on Design Dazzle I shared how to Turn a Night Stand into a Lemonade Stand. Well – we are now turning that same night stand into a Snow Cone stand! Who wouldn’t stop for this cute stand to purchase a snow cone? Go to our post for full directions on how to build the snow cone stand.
We are also sharing the free Snow Cone printables
We took the banner that we made for the lemonade stand (check out the image below) and just glued these cute printables to the backside of the green paper bags. This makes it easy for kids because they only have to make one banner if they want to do a lemonade and snow cone stand. Adorable printables made by Donna from Swish Designs.
We decided we liked the pink accents with the green and yellow, so we found some cute pink items around the house to add to the stand. We used pink chalk to write on the front chalkboard, we found pink doilies for the display table and painted a dollar store cookie tray for the pink serving tray.
To make a healthy snow cone you crush up the ice in your snow cone maker of choice and then pour pineapple juice over the ice instead of that sugary syrup. It may not have all the fun colors that a regular snow cone would have but it sure tastes good and eliminates the excessive amount of sugar. We put a pink gum ball on top for the cuteness factor.
Most grocery stores, Target, Smart-n-Final carry a selection of snow cone flavors such as this strawberry flavor found at Target.
This could be the back or the front of the snow cone stand depending on preference. You can read the details about the chalkboard from the lemonade stand post.
A HUGE thank you to Donna from Swish Printables who designed these fantastic snow cone printables!
