No matter the occasion, whether it be a casual dinner party or a weeknight meal at home with your family, these DIY paper daisy napkin rings will be perfect for your summer table setting.
Growing up I fondly remember my mom planning and celebrating everything from holidays and birthdays to “just because” celebrations. I loved how she took a simple celebration and made it magical by adding just a few personal touches. Nowadays with our busy schedules, it can be a challenge to find the time to intentionally celebrate others.
This summer it’s been my goal to focus more on spending time and intentionally celebrating the people in my life. The other day I had the perfect opportunity when a friend mentioned she was feeling a little down in the dumps. I invited her over for brunch and decided to make it extra special with a few DIY crafts.
These DIY Paper Daisy Napkin Rings are the perfect extra special touch for any summer celebration. They are super easy to make with the Cricut and take less than 30 minutes.
Supplies
- Cricut Maker
- Cardstock – yellow, white and green
- Glue
- Yellow napkins
Start by opening up the Paper Daisy Napkin Rings SVG in Design Space. There you can resize or tweak the design if necessary.
Hit “Make” and select the material you will be using. I used the Cricut medium weight cardstock in yellow, white and green. Press Go and let your Cricut machine take it from there.
Once all the pieces are cut out take the white flower and begin to carefully fold the petals inward a bit to give the flowers so extra dimension.
Use a small dab of glue to glue the two flower pieces together. Then add the yellow centerpiece.
Now, take the green napkin ring and wrap it around your yellow napkin. Use the little tabs to secure it closed.
Finally, glue the daisy and the additional green leaves to the napkin ring to complete your DIY paper daisy napkin ring.
These napkins rings are sure to brighten up any table setting and add that extra special element of fun!
I wanted my friend who was coming over for brunch to walk away feeling a little bit more cheerful and to know how very special and loved she truly is. I filled a berry basket with candy-filled paper strawberries and a little tag that said “I couldn’t have picked a better friend.” and put them at her place setting.
With the help of my Cricut I was able to create a few simple DIY projects that allowed me to intentionally celebrate a friend and hopefully brighten her day.
I want to help you brighten someone else’s day too, so I’ve teamed up with some of my fellow bloggers to giveaway a bundle of Cricut products and a $200 Gift Card!
