Pink Pirates

We went to a Pirate birthday party on Sunday and everyone was asked to dress like a pirate.  One small problem...the only pirate getup we had was a pirate shirt I had just bought Parker on Saturday for Halloween.I didn't want to spend lots of money to deck my kids out for a birthday party so I made a quick trip to Target to see what I could find for cheap.  I found a hot pink & black scarf and a hot pink tank top in the dollar spot. The scarf was a little too thick for the girls so I folded it … [Read more...]

Barnyard Bash

Oink, Baa, Moo, Parker & Piper are 2!  Our sweet babies, just turned 2 and we had a barnyard bash to celebrate!  I have been planning this party for a few months and couldn't wait to celebrate but we had a few minor snags along the way.  This was going to be an outside party complete with a barn, horse coral and lots of hay, but the weather didn't cooperate and left everything soggy and wet so we had to have the party inside.     When I decided on the theme "Barnyard Bash" I knew I wanted it to … [Read more...]

St. Paddy’s Day Party

I love to throw parties and look for any excuse to have them...so I threw together a St. Paddy's Day party for some of our adorable friends. The weather was GORGEOUS so we threw down some blankets in the backyard, moved the grocery store outside, gathered up some sidewalk chalk and let everyone loose (11 kiddos to be exact). A party wouldn't be complete without tasty food so I put together some simple snacks to help celebrate.I printed the cupcake toppers from TomKat Studio and then used my … [Read more...]
