From the moment I found out I was going to be a mom I started planning all sorts of fun activities in my head. I knew I wanted to be that “fun mom” just like my own mother who created lots of memorable moments filled with laughter and joy. I’m a sucker for annual traditions and years ago I started hosting an Easter Egg Hunt Party and now it’s something my kids look forward to every year! We don’t change things up too much, we invite our friends, have bunny hop races, hunt Easter eggs, crack confetti eggs and enjoy some sweet treats. And you can always guarantee that there will be lots of laughter and memories made!
This year I decided on a bunny theme for our Easter Egg Hunt Party so I created a party and treats around a bunnies favorite food, carrots…of course! But our little bunnies have a sweet tooth and couldn’t wait to nibble on my Carrot Cake Bunny Bait! Inspired by the new M&M’s® Carrot Cake chocolate candy I created this tasty and super easy bunny bait recipe for your Easter celebrations.
With just a few simple ingredients you’ll have this bunny bait whipped up in no time. You will need popcorn, orange chocolate melting wafers, sprinkles, and M&M’s® Carrot Cake. It makes a great treat to nibble on at parties or even as a special after school snack.
Once that is done, you can spread it out on a parchment lined baking tray. Then you’ll need to melt your orange chocolate candy melts. Now drizzle the chocolate all over the popcorn. Before the chocolate cools and hardens you’ll want to sprinkle the popcorn with green sprinkles and the M&M’s® Carrot Cake chocolate candy.
Let the popcorn cool and then place it into colorful popcorn containers. Make them extra pretty with carrot themed printables from Love the Day.
The kids will love munching on this delicious bunny bait while they wait to do the bunny hop or crack confetti eggs on unsuspecting friends.
Make sure you head to Wal-Mart to find the new M&M’s® Carrot Cake chocolate candy, you’ll find it on an end cap near the Easter candy. And don’t forget to invite some cute little bunnies to your Easter Egg Hunt party to enjoy this tasty Carrot Cake Bunny Bait!
