I recently traded favors with my sweet friend Kristi, she embroidered all the aprons for Aubrey’s party and I made her some party decorations for her daughter’s party this weekend.
She is having a butterfly themed party and wanted a banner and some party decor to coordinate. I loved the color scheme, the bright and cheery pinks with lime green. I used my Cricut to make everything and embellished it with lots of ribbon and rhinestones.
Happy Birthday Avery

I gave her lots of pink pom poms and tulle to decorate with and can’t wait to see everything tomorrow at the party! Thanks Kristi for a fun trade!
And we LOVE all the decorations!!! LOVE them:) Avery was so excited to see the banner hanging up when she got up this morning!!!! Thanks girl!!!
I have a Cricut too, you think I could come up with all these ideas myself. but no. LOVE the banner colors.
What Cricut cartridge(s) did you use?
Heather, I used the Storybook cartridge, which is one of my favorites.
You did a fantastic job with the cute banner and details for Avery's party!! SUPER CUTE!!
Just browsing the web, and I LOVE your designs! Very creative!
I wanted to get the centerpieces how much or how would I go about getting it
What kind of sticks did u use for the centerpieces?
Amber, I just use bamboo skewers. They work great and are super affordable. 🙂
hello where could I find the pink buckets?
I found those pink buckets at the Target Dollar spot several years ago. I’ve seen similar buckets at Hobby Lobby and Party City, good luck finding something that will work for your party!
How do you attach the cutouts to the bamboo skewers?
Suzanna, I just used tape and adhered the bamboo skewers to the back of the cutouts.
Hi Mariah,
I love the party decorations you’ve created. I have a question on the banner. For the banner, did you use a cricut cartridge for the circle and flower like shape that the butterflies are mounted on? Thanks!
Thank you Rachael! Yes, I used a Cricut cartridge to make the banner. I believe it was part of the Celebrate cartridge, but you can also find similar shapes in the Cricut Design Space. 🙂
