It never fails, at the last minute, you remember you needed a gift for a friend, teacher, or neighbor. We all have stressors during the holidays. I’m here to share creative and fun holiday hacks and tips to help relieve some of that stress and make holiday entertaining and prepping fun! Here are 3 easy DIY Christmas Gifts with printable tags that you can make in a hurry for almost everyone on your list.
Ever since I created my Oh Deer Coffee Mugs last year for Christmas, I have been obsessed with incorporating my stag into everything from decor to gifts. Since deer still seem to be a hot trend this year, I decided to use it as my inspiration for 3 different deer-themed printable tags that could go with simple DIY gifts.
Warm Winter Wishes for A Deer Friend Gift Idea
Our first gift idea is perfect for the friends and neighbors on your list. Who doesn’t love to curl up with a steaming cup of hot cocoa when the weather is cold outside? This gift is so easy to make, and something even your kids could help you with. I used the small wooden berry baskets and filled them with paper shred. Next, I added a couple of packets of hot cocoa mix, a mini bag of marshmallows, chocolate-covered spoons, and a DIY glittery deer bag filled with Lindt Chocolate Truffles.
I made the hot chocolate spoons using the Wilton Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa melting chocolates and added marshmallows, peppermint, and a dash of sea salt to some of the spoons.
Cheers, My Deer Holiday Gift Ideas
Our next gift is ideal for just about anyone on your list, and there are so many different variations of how you can use the “Cheers My Deer” printable gift tags. This past summer, I painted one of the drink carriers from Michaels for a birthday gift, and it was such a hit that I decided to do it again for the holidays. I filled the white drink carrier with festive sodas and added some embellishments and the deer tags for a fun and bubbly gift anyone would love.
You Are Deer-ly Appreciated
Our final gift is great for teachers, the mailman, or your hairdresser. It’s a simple and inexpensive way to let them know just how much they are appreciated. I picked up some of these super fun mugs from Michaels, added the deer silhouette in gold vinyl, and filled them with homemade sea salt and chocolate caramel popcorn, and tied it with the “You’re Deer-ly Appreciated” printable tag. You could also add a gift card to your teacher’s favorite store to make it an extraordinary gift you know they will love!
See, I told you easy peasy! Three simple ideas that you can throw together for just about everyone on your list!
