Watermelon, Mint and Feta Kabobs

Watermelon is a delicious and refreshing fruit that has become a staple at family picnics and cookouts.  It is best in the late summer which could be why August 3rd has been dubbed National Watermelon Day.

Watermelon kabobs

Try these light and refreshing watermelon kabobs, perfect for summer parties and entertaining.

What You Will Need
– Watermelon (cubed)
– Mint leaves
– Feta cheese
– Honey
– Bamboo skewers (cut to desired length)

Thread a mint leaf onto the skewer.

Next, add a watermelon cube.

Add your feta cheese.  Repeat the layers and then place on a serving platter.

I wanted to embellish my skewers, but didn’t have round beads so I improvised and added a red jelly bean to the top of the skewer.

Finally, drizzle honey over the watermelon kabobs and serve.

Yummy, refreshing + sweet Watermelon Kabobs…enjoy!
