Today I have a really cute and easy teacher appreciation gift to share with you, and it includes FREE printables. Treat your teachers and show them how much you appreciate everything they do with our Smart Cookie Teacher Appreciation Gift.
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 2-6th and we want to make sure our teachers are showered with lots of notes, gifts and treats to show them just how special and extraordinary they are. Our school has a theme for each day of the week and one of the days is treats. Cookies are a great afternoon treat, paired with a cute “Smart Cookie” printable tag from Dimpleprints and it’s the perfect gift to make the teacher feel celebrated and appreciated.
What goes better with cookies than a glass of milk? A mini jug of milk of course! I found the adorable mini milk jugs at Michaels and have decided that they are my favorite new thing. I used them at our April Showers baby shower and have been obsessed and pretty much using them whenever I can.
If you need a last minute gift idea for your teacher, be a smart cookie and give them a treat that will turn an ordinary day into an extraordinary one!
To make your Smart Cookie teacher appreciation gift you will need:
- Cookies
- Smart Cookie Printables
- Mini Milk Jugs from Michaels
- Small Wooden Berry Baskets
- Craft It Paper Milk Cartons from Michaels
- Paper Straws
- Tape
- Twine
Place a napkin in the bottom of the wooden basket and fill the basket with the cookies, add the mini milk jug and a cute paper straw. Use a mini clothes pin to attach the free Smart Cookie printable tag to the side of the wooden basket. NOTE: If you aren’t hand delivering the treats to your teacher you could always place the cookies in a cellophane bag and tie the bag with twine and attach the tag.
Another option would be to make the Craft It Paper Milk Cartons from Michaels and wrap one of the labels around the side of the carton. Fill the carton with mini chocolate chip cookies for your teacher to enjoy.
Either way we think your teacher will appreciate the kind gesture and truly appreciate the treats, after all it takes a lot of work to make those kids “smart cookies!”
