Since it is almost October, I feel like it is totally ok to start decorating the house for Halloween. (Even if my kids ask why I have to be so extra) I have a ton of glass storage and apothecary jars at my house. I love to fill them all with candies, plastic bones, and more for Halloween. And, even though jars of candies and bones are cool, I wanted to make them more Halloween like. So, I created some printable Halloween apothecary labels for my jars.
Easy Halloween Decorations
The great thing about using glass jars as Halloween decorations are they are super cost-effective! You can literally use empty food jars if you wanted. I used canning jars and small glass milk bottles for candies and Halloween bones, and traditional apothecary jars are filled with larger Halloween goodies.
I loved the jars full of Halloween colored candies, but I thought they needed a little more.
Halloween Apothecary Jar Labels
I wanted the labels to have a spooky vintage vibe. As a little girl, my parents would joke that we were having bat wings for dinner every October, so I had to make a batwing label. I also made Eye of Newt and skull labels.
You can find the labels in my shop. Use the code APOTHECARY to download them FREE. Don’t forget, you can also use the code GIGGLESGALORE to get 25% off anything else in the shop too!
Create Halloween Jars
I printed my Halloween labels on printable sticker paper, and cut each one out. I could have printed them on printer paper and used my Xyron sticker maker too.
Once they were all cut out, it was time to stick them on my jars!
I just love how easy it was to make a bunch of fun Halloween decorations using items I had at home!
