Christmas Family Party

North Pole Breakfast

Today some special “elves” left us a surprise…a tasty North Pole Breakfast.

The kids were so excited to wake up and find such a special treat waiting for them.  The original plan was to introduce our Elf on the Shelf, however there was a hold up at the North Pole and he didn’t arrive on time so I had to improvise a little.  We read a note our Elf left us and told them he would be hanging around our house to keep an eye on them.

He also told them that Santa hadn’t received their Christmas wish list and asked them to fill out their Letter to Santa.

We ate a yummy breakfast with treats from the North Pole.

Sipped Hot Coco

And finally he left each of them a little present to help keep them toasty and warm.

I was excited to use my new printables from Shindig Parties to Go to decorate.  Have I mentioned how much I love her stuff?!

We had such a fun morning!  This will definitely be a new Christmas tradition for us!

Creepy arms, cascading vines, and moss give the impression of a once-vibrant garden overtaken by time and ghosts. A swarm of black butterflies flutter above moss and garden vines. Skulls lie covered in moss, and lanterns flicker, bringing this eerie Halloween display to life.

I’m obsessed with these creepy arms and love how they elevate my Halloween mantel decor. What do you think, is this a YAY or NAY?

Don’t forget to SAVE this for inspo + SHARE with your Halloween bestie.

I love dressing up for Halloween! Over the years I I love dressing up for Halloween! Over the years I’ve had so much fun making DIY costumes for our friend’s annual Halloween party, and these are just a few of my favorites.

Which is your favorite?

1. Maleficent (Heroes & Villains themed party)
2. Easy Bake Oven (80s themed party)
3. Zoltar Fortune Teller (Movie themed party)
4. Drive By Birthday Car (Covid 2020 themed party)

I’m still trying to figure out what to do this year for my costume. 🤷‍♀️ The theme is Holiday, any good ideas?

I’ve been avoiding the Halloween section so I’m not tempted to buy the @reeses pumpkins, because they are my weakness!!

But, that’s not stopping me from creating cute Halloween crafts and gift ideas like these DIY Crystal Ball favors. Fill them with your favorite candy and give them to someone who needs a little magic in their life right now.

1 year later and I’m still completely smitten wi 1 year later and I’m still completely smitten with this renovation, not just because it is updated and fresh but because it’s truly become the hub for our home.

You may be surprised just how much time you spend in your kitchen every day. So many meals made, conversations had, parties thrown, and emotions felt. The kitchen is where memories are made, traditions are started and love blooms.

Our kitchens are as busy as our lives; they are the centrepieces of our homes. What would you include in your dream kitchen?
