Christmas Muffin Tin Monday Party

Muffin Tin Monday

All month the theme is Christmas at MTM so today we used our new muffin tins from the dollar spot at Target.

We have been in serious party mode and this weekend we had a Christmas party, Baby Shower and North Pole Breakfast so we have lots of leftover “party” food.  I decided to use some of that up today and here is what we had in our tin:

Crackers, Flower shaped salami & cheese, Christmas tortilla chips, guacamole, strawberry yogurt w/red sprinkles and “snowballs”

The kids ate every last bite.  Aubrey requested a baby Jesus muffin tin next week, so we’ll see if I can pull it off.  Don’t forget to stop by Muffin Tin Mom’s to see the other festive muffin tins.

You got those from Target? cool! I got the same set off Ebay last summer.
LOL, Aubrey is giving you some challenges for MTM, isn't she? I'll be curious to see what you come up with.

I bet Target has sold a bazillion of those from their Dollar Spot. It's such a good bargain! I wish my little darlings would eat guacamole. Oh well…in the meantime, more for me. :o)

Muffin Tin Monday

Muffin Tin Monday

Monday’s have become a very busy day for us. We go to MOPS in the morning and by the time we get home for lunch everything seems rushed in order to get everyone down for a nap in time. I wasn’t even going to do a muffin tin today (and the theme was super cute, Kebabs) but at the last minute decided we would throw one together to brighten our day (it’s a rainy, dreary day here.)

Here is little Miss A’s muffin tin:She had bananas, marshmallows, grapes, a STAR PB&J, cheese crackers & juice. I threw in some sunny flowers & sweet sayings to liven it up a little.

P&P even got to participate and enjoyed their banannas in a muffin tin today.Head on over to Her Cup Overfloweth to see what other moms put together for MTM. I am sure you will find lots of creative ideas & inspiration. I will definately be doing today’s theme sometime later, so many fun & creative ideas…

Muffin Tin Monday

Muffin Tin Monday

Yeah! It’s Muffin Tin Monday

Happy Monday! Today there was no theme for Muffin Tin Monday, so we decided to create our muffin tin with Aubrey’s favorite things (AKA – Mom was busy all morning and forgot to make plans for MTM.)

Here is what we had:Mac n cheese, marshmallows, PB&J Aubrey look-a-like, goldfish and blueberries.

Today we even let Parker & Piper participate in MTM with their very own muffin tin. They had yummy mac n cheese. At first they weren’t sure what to do with this strange thing sitting on their tray (we normally just put the food right on the tray), but they quickly dove right in and I even caught them trying to put the spilled pieces back in the tin. Surprisingly there was also less mess to clean up today! We are going to the post office to mail our Muffin Tin Swap package this afternoon and can’t wait to see what new goodies we will get to play with for MTM. Don’t forget to check out Her Cup Overfloweth for more great ideas and creative lunches.

Muffin Tin Monday Vacation

Muffin Tin Monday

It’s Monday which means it is time for Muffin Tin Monday! It feels like an eternity since the last MTM we participated in, but in reality it has only been a week. We missed last weeks MTM because we were here

Bryce National Park, Utah

We took a trip to Utah to visit family and had a blast. We got to play in the Mountains, ride horses on the farm, go swimming with cousins and celebrate 4th of July with an old fashioned parade & fireworks (lots of pictures to come.)

We just got home last night and of course have very little food in the house. I decided to do our Muffin Tin for breakfast this morning since I was able to round up something up for this meal and since there was no theme this week it was quick and easy.Front Row: Pancake, Syrup, Blueberry Yogurt
Back Row: Juice, Pancake, Peaches

Books Crafts Muffin Tin Monday

Muffin Tin Monday

Today over at MTM there was no theme, so we decided to use the same one from last week (Children’s Literature) since I loved it so much.

I picked the story “The Little Mouse, The Ripe Red Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear” by Audrey and Don Wood. This is a great children’s story with vivid pictures and simple text for even the youngest readers. The little mouse is trying to keep the strawberry away from the bear, and his adorable attempts to hide it our guaranteed to make you laugh!

Here is our muffin tin lunch…
Front Row: The Little Mouse (1/2 an egg), the Ripe Red Strawberries, Cheese (what mouse doesn’t love cheese.)
Second Row: The Big Hungry Bear (PB&J sandwich), more Ripe Red Strawberries, and another Mouse

For our craft today we made a little mouse. I got the idea from No time for flash cards, pop on over there for directions and more details. Here is our version of The Little Mouse (which Aubrey has been pretend playing with all morning, so cute!)
