Today we had a 4th of July muffin tin and used up some of our goodies from our party this weekend. We had a “create your own cupcake” red, white & blue flag muffin tin. The kids LOVED this one and I will definately do variations of this one again.
For our blue stars we had blue sprinkles and blueberries. The red stripes were strawberries and raspberries and the white stripes were icing and cupcakes.
The kids each got one mini cupcake and icing and one of each of the toppings to decorate with. Piper didn’t bother with the icing and immediately ate her cupcake. Then dipped the fruit in her icing.
Parker put a little bit of icing on his cupcake before he realized what it was and then just started to lick the icing off the knife. He did add a few pieces of fruit before shoving the cupcake in his mouth.

Adorable! I bet they had a ball making those cupcakes. Great idea!
