While your busy making plans for Easter Brunch don’t forget to throw in some fun details just for the kids! I’ve put together some easy kid friendly Easter entertaining ideas just in time for Easter.
Nothing says Easter like the white and fluffy Easter Bunny, which is why I decided to use it as our theme this year. I’ve had a very busy and demanding schedule lately but I still wanted to do something extra special for my kids and family on Easter Sunday. I stuck with simple ideas that even the kids can help with.
For our Easter table I used grass mat from the craft store as placemats. I placed bright yellow plates on top for a pop of color and then added super cute bunny napkins. Every Easter my mom would make these washcloth bunnies and I was inspired to use them as our napkins this year. I love incorporating some of my childhood memories and making them traditions and memories for my kids too!
To stick with the bunny theme I made my popular Easter Bunny Cupcakes and added a new bunny themed treat, Easter Bunny Cups with Bunny Bait. To balance out the sweets I made sure to provide some veggies. My mom saw the idea for the hummus and baby carrots on Pinterest and I loved how simple and cute it was. The kids devoured the veggie sticks I made for our Spring Planting Party so I decided to incorporate the organic planting pots with veggies in this celebration as well.
I had left over yarm pom poms from my Easter Bunny Canvas and after seeing my friend Courtney from Pizzazzerie bunny tail drink stirs I was inspired to make my own. I simply hot glued the yarn pom pom to the top of a bamboo skewer for a fun and fluffy drink stirrer.
I stopped by The Broadcast earlier this week to share all of these fun ideas and tips for hosting an extraordinary Easter celebration, watch the video below for more creative Kid Friendly Easter Entertaining Ideas.
