I am over the moon excited about starting the new month off with this post. Today I am introducing the newest members of the Giggles Galore team! Eight years ago I created Giggles Galore with the sole purpose and intention of sharing pictures of my kiddos and our daily antics with my family. What was a hobby and creative outlet, and often times the only thing that kept me sane with 3 kids under the age of 2, slowly grew into a full-time thriving job. Over the past year I’ve realized that in order for Giggles Galore to continue to grow and evolve I needed to think bigger, and ultimately let go of a few things. A few months ago, after some encouragement from friends I decided to give growth and change a chance and put a call out on Instagram for contributors. To be quite honest I was terrified and insecure that no one would respond or apply. But, I was blown away by the applications and overwhelmed by all of the talent and creativity out there. I am so glad I took the plunge because these ladies are extremely creative, talented and AMAZING! I can’t wait to show you their work, but first let’s get to know the new Giggles Galore team!
Jessica is a party stylist and blogger at www.thecelebrationstylist.com. She is also a wife, mama of one, home decor enthusiast, and Disney lover who lives in sunny, South Florida. She is a party expert who started blogging to share her love of creating and inspiring others. Visit her on social media for daily eye candy.
You could say my blogging journey is a little bit Erin Brockovich, a whole lot creative mom. Life took a crazy turn with the birth of my third child, who had so many health issues we weren’t sure if he’d live. Eventually he and his younger brother were both diagnosed with an auto-immune disorder that mimics disease found in Asian children exposed to Agent Orange. We believe ground water tainted by a chemical testing facility near our home is likely to blame. I wasn’t about to let health challenges get in the way of CELEBRATING life with my children and started planning fairly elaborate, themed events in the security of my home. Today I am an established party blogger looking to partner with brands on budget-friendly, DIY home celebrations.
Jessica Litman is the professional organizer and seasoned crafter over at www.theorganizedmama.com. Jessica uses her teaching background to inspire families to organize their handmade homes by adding personal, crafty touches while creating organizing systems that allow families to spend more time playing, rather than searching. She loves spending time with her family, organizing, crafting, and watching trashy reality TV!
Laura Aguirre is the founder and stylist over at LAURA’s little PARTY – a site for fun party inspiration, DIY projects, recipes and more! She has a zest for fun party details, and loves to add unique props into her styled shoots and family celebrations. Laura resides in Orange County, CA with her husband and 4 children.
I’m Alison from alisoninspires. I have loved creating art as long as I can remember. As a child I was always drawing, painting and even making my own holiday decorations. My passion led me to major in graphic design/illustration in college and establish my career as a graphic designer. Over the last few years, crafting has become another way I enjoy expressing myself. I love creating new and unique home décor and party designs. I hope to teach and inspire creativity in others, because the earth without “art” is just “eh”, and who wants that?
Catherine Sarlis is the Party Planner, DIYer, and Stylist behind WellKeptChaos, a blog geared towards women seeking craft ideas and friendly chatter. When she’s not creating projects with a touch of nostalgia or ordering way too many party supplies, she can be found playing with her cats, eating ice cream, and browsing Pinterest (usually simultaneously).
I hope you will help me welcome the new Giggles Galore team members and check out their blogs and follow them on social media. I can’t wait to show you what creative projects they have been working on lately, there are lots of sweet summertime ideas coming your way soon!
