Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year, from colorful Monster Mash parties to Carnevil Trunk-or-Treats, there are so many fun ways to celebrate this spooky season. One of our favorite ways to kick-off this spooktacular month of skeletons, candy and monsters galore are with a frightfully fun Halloween movie night.
Before you settle in for a Halloween movie marathon pop some popcorn, grab some spooky treats and create the ultimate movie snack the whole family will love. This candy charcuterie board is easy to throw together and perfect for a spine chilling night of movies that will make you jump, laugh and scream.
How to Create a Halloween Candy Charcuterie Board
First, you will need a shallow serving tray or board.
Place a bowl in one of the corners and fill it with fresh-popped popcorn.
Next, you will need lots of creepy, Halloween themed candy. When it comes to Halloween candy my go-to place to find the creepiest candy is Oriental Trading. They have the best and biggest selection of everything from realistic worms to gumball eyes.
Pile the candy in groups around the popcorn. I like to use smaller bowls to hold the smaller, round candy like the jelly beans and gumballs. This also adds some height and dimension to your candy board.
Once you have all of your candy grouped on the tray fill in any gaps by layering other Halloween treats like chocolate covered pretzels, candy buttons and more.
Finally, finish off your candy charcuterie board with a few creepy accessories like spiders and skeleton hands.
Whether you are ready to scare yourself silly or just looking for a frightfully fun movie the whole family will love, this Halloween themed candy charcuterie board is creepy, freaky and fun!
